GreenValue is our lowest cost option introduced in May 2021. For the same price as PG&E electric generation service, you can receive the additional benefits of customer choice, community programs, local control, transparency, and accountability.
Any customer can enroll in GreenValue at any time.
The energy content consists of 40% renewable energy and up to 80% carbon-free power. Non-renewable carbon-free sources are a combination of large hydroelectric and nuclear, the proportion of which will be confirmed by the end of 2022.
The remaining 20% is California grid system power. This electricity comes from unspecified sources, such as electricity traded through open-market transactions, that aren’t traceable to a specific generation facility. They may include renewables and hydroelectric.
